Somebody wrote an outline and forgot to finish this book. Really no depth to those stories that were here. Who edited and published this?
I wasnot very impressed with this book.I had to force myself to read it and wouldnot by tyhis author again.
An easy read but no real information. This is more a list of names than an account of historical information. These people deserve more of they are going to be written about. Very disappointing.
Disappointing effort. This looks like a class report for freshman history...in high school. The stories were brief at best and many are better told elsewhere. Based on this example, the author will find it a challenge to sell additional "books".
I was highly disappointed. As a military history buff, I was really looking forward to reading this book. The "stories" weren't much more than a paragraph or two, which were a mediocre summary at best. I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.
I have read prescriptions and handouts that had more text than this so called book. I promise I thought there had been a download mistake or that the whole text was the introduction or the foreword. Shallow. Second grade average students can do better than that
Love the subject matter but this book actually covers a very small cross section of the heroes. Very little detail or depth.
